ADJUST BEFORE WEARING

To provide maximum vision, adjust the glasses on your nose until the centre of the lens corresponds to the centre of your eye (+). Press rims gently toward or away from nose until the frame fits perfectly, thus closing the space between the frame and nose and preventing the entrance of dust and light. The frames should not press into the face at any point. Adjust the nose pads to achieve desired fit Fig2.   The Eyewear should fit securely on the bridge of the nose, without pinching.

When the wearer moves their head, or even bends over to reach for the ground, the frames should stay in place. Adjust the end tips to provide optimal grip on your ear, taking in consideration that every heads ear to eye distance differs Fig3.

If the eyewear is sitting crookedly on the nose, usually the temples need to be adjusted.  Many people have one ear that is slightly higher than the other. Adjusting the position of the temples to compensate for this  lets the frame sit evenly on the wearer’s nose.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

In the even that your glasses are constantly sliding down your face or pinching your nose, you will need to make some adjustments. You can adjust your glasses yourself most of the time, but if your eyewear is extremely out of alignment,

You may need to take them to your optometrist or eyeglass specialist to be fitted perfectly to your face.

ADJUST THE NOSA PADS

Pressing the nose pads closer together will make the glasses sit higher on the nose.  Spreading the nose pads further apart will cause the glasses to sit lower on the nose. Press or spread both the nose pads gently with two fingers a little at the time and test on nose.

ADJUST THE END TIPS

The end tip should fit securely and comfortably around the back of your ear. Bend the end tip very gently using two hands to achieve the optimal curve for your ear. Don't stress the temple and only bend it a little at the time, trying it on each time before bending it more.

KEEPING THE SCREW IN PLACE

If the screw on the temple tip appears loose, screw back in place until the temples opens and closes smoothly. Use only a small screwdriver that fits the screw head perfectly to avoid damage to the screw. If you loose a screw ask your local optician for replacement.
